Dear Parents and guardians of 8th grade students,

As the year is winding down, anticipation of getting a break from school grows. This excitement has lead some students to make choices that are not safe, respectful, or responsible. We want as many students as possible to partcipate and enjoy the transition to high school. For this to happen, we need students to show respect to the adults on campus and follow the school rules.  To this end, we are ammending our 8th grade promotion and activities guidelines as follows:

Any student who has earned a one day suspension or 2 or more majors as of May 18th, will not be able to participate in the end of the year activities which may include: the promotion ceremony, the promotion dance, the awards ceremony and the 8th grade activity day, as determined by the school administration.

Sincerely,

Reiner Light, Principal
